Christmas is coming back to the theatres across the UK this year and the Brookside Theatre Romford are delighted to announce the cast and creative team for their festive family musical this December, the hit Broadway show,  ELF THE MUSICAL, playing from 10 December to 23 December 2021.

Based on the much loved 2003 film, starring Will Ferrell, ELF THE MUSICAL is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy’s enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

The cast consists of Artistic Director, Jai Sepple; Emily Perzan (The Wizard of Oz, US & International Tour); Jason Markham; Jaden Christopher; Harri Sepple (Cats, New London Theatre & Broadway); Ysabell Livings (Hairspray, Brookside Theatre Romford), PJ Tomlinson (The Feeling, The Other Palace London) with supporting roles by Sean Erwood, Josh Thompson and Ellie Stone.

Brought to you by the team behind ‘Hairspray’, ‘Peter Pan’ & ‘The Wizard of Oz’, the  holiday-film turned-musical features songs by Tony Award nominees, Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin (Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway, The Wedding  Singer), with a book by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone); directed by Jai Sepple, musical direction by Edward Sage, choreography by Harri Sepple, set design by Derek Wright and costumes by Jean Howard.

ELF THE MUSICAL will be performed at the Brookside Theatre, Eastern Road, Romford from 10 December 2021 – 23 December 2021. Tickets are £15 – £20 with discounts for groups. To book, call the Box Office on 01708 755775 or go online at brooksidetheatre.com
