Murder and blackmail are on the menu at Romford’s Brookside Theatre this October as the theatre present the brand new comedy thriller, CLUE.

It’s a dark and stormy night in 1949 and six unique guests, a butler, a cook and a maid, have assembled for a dinner party at the home of Mr. Boddy. When their host turns up dead, it soon becomes clear that no one is safe! Now the guests must race to find the killer as the body count stacks up. This uproarious new comedy is based on the hit 1985 movie starring Tim Curry and Christopher Lloyd and the classic family board game, Cluedo.

CLUE’s director, Harri Sepple explains, “We are very excited to be finally bringing this fantastic, fast-paced farce to our stage. Delayed by the pandemic, it has been a long and interesting journey but we are sure that this production will leave audiences laughing and wanting more. Our incredible cast truly bring these iconic and colourful characters to life in what promises to be an unmissable and unforgettable production.”

Was it Mrs. Peacock in the study with the knife? Or perhaps Colonel Mustard in the library with the wrench? It’s the whodunnit that will leave audiences ‘dying’ of laughter and guessing right up to the very end.

CLUE runs from Wednesday 19th October through until Saturday 22nd October at the Brookside Theatre, Eastern Road, Romford. Tickets are £13/£16 and available online at www.brooksidetheatre.com or from the theatre box office on 01708 755775.
