In this adaptation of the 1915 novel and 1935 film, crafted by Patrick Barlow, the actors steal the show with their hilarious reactions and lively movements. With minimal props and sets, their boundless creativity transforms simple elements into captivating scenes, from turning a square into a window to playfully hopping between suitcases as if they were on a moving train. The multiple uses of props took me back to classic episodes of ‘Whose Line is it Anyway?’

I was fortunate to find out that the performance was tailored for audiences aged 7 and above, so I brought along my 11-year-old daughter, who found the show absolutely hilarious, I wouldn’t be surprised if you heard her laughing. Whether you’re already acquainted with the original sources or experiencing the story for the first time, the production’s charm and comedic brilliance shine through, guaranteeing a delightful experience for all spectators.

As you can tell, I thoroughly enjoyed the evening, and I wholeheartedly recommend catching it before it concludes. This production is definitely one I’d love to experience again this year.
