New English Ballet Theatre (NEBT) is a dynamic, critically acclaimed ballet company founded in 2010 by artistic director Karen Pikington-Miksa, and I was very proud to be invited along to their performance at The Queen’s Theatre

Various choreographers contributed to the evening, so every dance was unique. You could count on the next song being different, regardless of whether you liked a particular dance. Classical ballet and Genesis’s music were both inspirations for the evening. Seeing all of the members dance together to the song ‘I Can’t Dance’ was truly a joy.

I took my 11-year-old daughter to see the performance, and she was blown away by it and expressed her appreciation for the performers’ hard work and dedication. She was especially inspired by the creativity and athleticism displayed in each performance. Her ballet class will hear all about the show since it was a great experience for her

It was a great demonstration of the amazing talents that are held by NEBT and I would certainly keep an eye out for any other performances by the group. I was particularly impressed by the group’s ability to work together and collaborate to create a beautiful performance.
