It’s hard to believe that it’s been over 3 years since ‘Habbit Factory’ appeared on stage at ‘The Queen’s Theatre and the actors/actresses certainly showed it on stage. There were smiles and waving all around, with the actors putting all of their emotions and efforts into the whole performance and the audience could not help but clap along to all the songs and wave back

The Habbit Factory was Founded in 2004, The Habbit Factory (THF) is an inclusive arts organisation working with children and young people in the London Borough of Havering – The borough with the 5th highest level of child poverty in London. It’s a group that is open to all ages and abilities, with young and old appearing the whole night showing their talents and proving that creative arts is one of the most powerful tools to bring people together, breaking down social and cultural barriers, whilst helping the most vulnerable to lead a fulfilling and dignified life.

The story presented is one of many trials but contains a lot of funny real life references, such as simple references to Johnson and to recent movies. I was certainly amazed by the levels that the story went to and it didn’t shy away from realism

I took my two girls along, who both told me that they had lots of fun and were inspired by the many talents of the actors. I was especially inspired by the children who played Buddy the Badger and Steve the Skunk who were fantastic actors and I wouldn’t be surprised if I saw them in any future shows
