Network Rail have sent out fliers to let people know that both the Woodhall Crescent and Butts Lane crossing are due to close

Important changes to Butts Lane & Woodhall Crescent foot crossings
As part of our plans to reduce the risk at level crossings and create a safer, more reliable railway, we will be closing the foot crossings at Butts Lane and Woodhall Crescent on 30 June 2022.
Following a Transport and Works Act Order application in 2017, the Secretary of State for Transport has now granted Network Rail the powers to close these crossings to all users permanently.
Please see the maps (overleaf) for the suggested alternative routes to cross the railway.
