Customers on train operator Trenitalia c2c’s route will benefit from reduced fares this spring as part of the Great British Rail sale, which was launched by the Department for Transport this morning.



c2c customers using off-peak services can book tickets with up to 50% off with a journey from London to Southend down to as little as £10.


Rob Taylor, c2c’s Interim Managing Director said: “During the Great British Rail sale, c2c will be even better value for customers looking to make off-peak trips across our network. With seaside attractions at the City of Southend-on-Sea to the many varied cultural hotspots in London, travelling on c2c this Spring is the best way to travel.”

Over one million Great British Rail Sale tickets will be available to buy from 19th April until 2nd May for travel between 25th April and 27th May 2022.

As an example, c2c customers can benefit from fares such as:

London (Fenchurch Street)– Southend Central: £10.00
Barking – Leigh-on-Sea: £7.70
Basildon – West Ham: £6.90
Benfleet – London Fenchurch Street): £9.50

c2c customers will be able to buy tickets from the c2c website and the c2c Train Travel App a minimum of one day before travel.
