The residents in Copthorne Gardens, Hornchurch have woken up to a unannounced destruction of the land opposite their houses

We spoke to a resident of that road
The land owner says he was asked by the council to trim the overhanging branches and this is his response. He’s failed on a number of occasions with planning permission. Seems very suspicious. No warning at all.
