Tomorrow (Thursday), the London Fire Brigade will be carrying out a training exercise at Thomas England House, Waterloo Estate, Romford.

Please don’t be concerned if you see smoke or fire engines on site – they will be simulating a mock fire using smoke machines on the 5th and 6th floors and dummies to represent casualties and represent a major fire evacuation.

10 Fire engines will be on site from approximately 1pm to 4pm tomorrow. They will not be using sirens or bells and there will be a LFB Command Unit on site throughout.

The Council are really proud to be able to support our emergency service colleagues to simulate and train for major incidents and continue to keep us all safe.
