World-renowned Dolly Parton tribute act, The Dolly Show, embarks on a national theatre tour and is at Queens Theatre, Hornchurch 21 July 2022, featuring West End star Kelly O’Brien.
“There are a lot of Dolly fans in the town, and I can’t wait to entertain them in this fantastic venue” says Kelly.

Australian born singer and comedian, Kelly has performed as Dolly Parton for fourteen years. She was chosen to represent the legendary country singer on BBC One’s ‘Even Better Than The Real Thing’ and has appeared as Dolly in pop videos, adverts and concerts around the world.
Kelly began singing country music at the age of 14 and has worked in musical theatre, pop, jazz and dance. Her theatre and TV credits include Starlight Express, Tonight’s The Night, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Good Morning Australia, Popstars, How To Look Good Naked, X Factor, and much more.

Kelly returned to her first love with the ultimate Dolly Parton tribute.

She explains: “I have been performing as Dolly Parton since 2008. I was working with a band in London and every time I sang 9 to 5 people told me how much I sounded like Dolly.

“A friend asked me if I would perform as a Dolly Parton tribute at her brother’s birthday party. I was very nervous, but it was a big hit.

“The show was born, and I have spent many years honing it into the world’s best Dolly Parton tribute show. I still work very hard to make sure it’s the best it can be.

“I have always loved the theatre and the show allows me to transport people to a different place and time. Some people will never get to see Dolly perform, so here I am trying to bring her to them.”

This show has it all: glitzy costumes, big hair, flawless comic timing and incredible vocals. The show follows Dolly through time, from the 1960s through to her iconic performance at the 2014 Glastonbury festival, capturing the voice, verve and voluptuousness of the little lady from Tennessee.

Audiences can expect to see classic Dolly Parton outfits in the show – including the white waistcoat suit that Dolly wore to Glastonbury, the turquoise dress from Dolly’s performance at the 02 Arena in 2008, and the white lace dress that she wore to the 61st Grammy Awards.

Kelly is supported by some of the UK’s finest country musicians, bringing audiences hits such as 9 to 5, Jolene and I Will Always Love You.
