The 1st Upminster Scouts are looking for parts to build a DIY swimming pool.
They recently listed the parts needed on the Upminster/Cranham Re Gifting Facebook page
Each year the Scouts at 1st Upminster like to take on new and bigger challenges. This Summer we’re looking to build a DIY swimming pool (similar to the image below). To save costs, we’re asking if you can help by donating any of the following items.
12 heavy duty pallets (Euro/EPAL) style. We may be able to arrange collection if you have 12 or more. Otherwise it’ll depend on your location and what vehicle we have available

Old towels (any sizes)
Scaffold boards
Pond pump (ideally 5000L per hour)
Air tight water barrel (50 to 100L size)
Ratchet straps
