They’re back! A long awaited blast from the past packed with good singalong tunes, cracking jokes and fun as the ever-popular Queen’s Theatre Marvellous Music Hall returns to the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch on Thursday 3 February 2022 at 2.30pm!

In this tribute to good old-fashioned East End variety entertainment with regular and new stars, forming part of the Queen’s Theatre’s Magical Matinee Series. Audiences will enjoy the Charming gavel-banging Chairmanship of regular Kevin Gauntlett and Musical Director Laurence Payne, with performances from the ever-versatile comedy-actor Peter John, top magician Johnny Slap, withreturning music hall star favourites Jan Hunt and regular Queen’s songstress Katie Milton and popular actor Clive Greenwood.

Returning to the stage will be bubbly, raven-haired Queen’s Theatre regular soprano Katie Milton, a familiar face with audiences, who has been bringing the Marvellous Music Hall to the Queen’s Theatre throughout the last decade. Katie will sing operatic favourites  My Hero from the Chocolate Soldier and Don’t Be Cross from The Millers Daughter, with music hall ditties including Alice Blue Gown and Joshua.

The legendary Music Hall Star of stage and screen, Miss Jan Hunt, will take you (and a lucky audience member!) on her delightful trips in the moonlight in How Would You Like to Spoon With Me and her renowned tribute to Marie Lloyd with My Old Man. Jan has appeared in decades of television series, including The Good Old Days and Crackerjack.

Ladling out the laughs will be Peter John, with impressions and popular tunes galore! This multi-talented comedy actor is a veteran and varied performer – appearing in anything from Shakespeare to panto – and has been honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the British Music Hall Society.

Popular actor and entertainer Clive Greenwood, last seen at the Queen’s Theatre as Chairman in Music Hall, will also provide much merriment with his hilarious songs I’m Shy, Mary Ellen and cockney favourites I Live in Trafalgar Square. Clive has also appeared on the West End stage, regularly at Hampton Court and has recently completed a UK tour in the Goon Show.

Be prepared to be amazed as Fire-eating Johnny Slap wows you with wonderment and mellifluous magic and hilarious unicycling!
