The government flooding website have announced a flooding warning for the River Ingreborne in Harold Park and Hornchurch

Heavy and persistent rain is forecast over east London overnight and into the early hours of tomorrow morning, Thursday 21 October. We expect river levels on the Ingrebourne to rise and minor flooding of low lying land, roads and gardens close to the river in the areas of Gaynes Park and Harold Park is possible. Flooding from surface water, where water gathers and flows off road surfaces, could also occur and cause issues during the Thursday morning rush hour. No flooding to properties is currently expected. Avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water and follow any local diversion routes. We are constantly monitoring river levels and have staff on standby to attend to any blockages in the river. This message will be updated tomorrow morning or earlier if the situation changes.
