As we continue to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, Havering Council wants to hear from residents, businesses and visitors about how we can improve and revitalise five of our town centres.

Have your say on how we can make Collier Row, Elm Park, Hornchurch, Rainham and Upminster town centres healthier, greener, safer and more attractive places to visit.

We want to enhance the look and feel of our great town centres, and encourage shoppers back to local businesses following the pandemic.

But it is vital that these changes are led by the people that use these spaces most. As such, we need local businesses, residents and the wider community to share your ideas on the kind of improvements you’d like to see in your town centres.

We are looking for suggestions for how we can:

  • Make people feel safer and more comfortable in our town centres
  • Improve public spaces making them more attractive, pleasant, vibrant, memorable places to visit & to spend time in
  • Provide more green spaces to relax and socialise in
  • Make it easier for people travelling to arrive into the town centres.
  • Provide a clean and healthy environment for all.

If you are a business owner, worker, resident or  someone who visits the town centres and has ideas about improvements and changes – please take a few minutes to share your ideas with us by visiting www.consultprojectcentre.co.uk/havering, where you can plot suggestions and ideas on an interactive map and respond to our survey.
