Hornchurch Residents Association (HRA) have posted photos on Facebook drawing people’s attention to a developer that is building a road that will cross over a footpath that leads from the A127 to the entrance to Pages Woods

They posted:

A developer is attempting to build a road (without planning permission) that will cut across the A127 entrance to the Pages Wood nature park. The purpose of the road is to facilitate access for lorries engaged in the construction of a bungalow on land owned by former Havering Tory Councillor Alby Tebbutt. The land at the entrance to Pages Wood is owned by The Forestry Commission. Judging by the deep ruts in the ground it appears a JCB has been driven across F.C. owned land in Pages Wood and through a gap in a dismantled fence into land owned by Alby Tebbutt. Pages Wood is extremely popular with dog-walkers and joggers and I encourage everyone reading this message to kick up a fuss and complain to Havering Council.
