Gary Humphries found that he got extremely bored over lockdown and so he decided to bring out his punch bag and do some training at home.

But soon after Gary decided to workout to fill in the monotony he decided to raise money for HAD (Havering Association for Disability) throughout February and has raised over £2500.

I then thought why do it for free when I can raise money for a good cause and give myself the extra motivation I needed to get up and train every day. The 290 come from that I was going to start at the beginning of February but I started early so I could take Sundays off as I go for a 5 mile walk every Sunday with my dog THOR and good friend John Stevens.

I am collecting for a registered charity called Havering Association for People with Disabilities [H.A.D]. I first met the group by singing at their Christmas party of 2019 and have stayed friends since.

Any donation large or small will be gratefully appreciated, I will post regular updates and videos of my progress. See you at the end of my 290

Speaking to HAD about Gary, they said

Gary he sang at our Christmas party and its one our favourite nights, ever, entertaining us and all our clients with a wonderful personality and talent that (we immediately booked him the next day for Christmas 2020, but sadly COVID cancelled that, hopefully this year 🤞)

Gary has kept us entertained and updated on his fundraising challenge by posting live to his Facebook post.
